The ends of the cables are pressed with MC4 connectors for connection to the solar panel. You can also use part of the cable to connect the solar controller and the battery - just install the safety disconnector on this cable as close to the battery as possible according to the diagram. The installing electrician will retrofit the ends of the cables leading to the solar controller with grommets.
