Product description
EXOR LiFePO4 batteries are primarily designed for backup power supplies, caravans, boats or solar systems with a nominal voltage of 12V. They include an integrated battery management BMS for protection and control of charging and discharging. Their design and size can make them an ideal replacement for lead-acid batteries in some cases, with a lifetime many times longer (up to 5000 cycles.) Without Bluetooth.
Technical parameters:
- Nominal voltage: 12.8V.
- capacity: 7Ah
- energy: 89.6Wh
- charging voltage: 14.6V
- Max continuous charging current: 7A (1C)
- Max. continuous discharge current: 7A (1C)
- Max. peak discharge current: 10A (5sec.)
- Load shedding: <10.8V -
- Charging mode: CC/CV (1st phase constant current, 2nd phase constant voltage)
- Life: >2000 cycles with 0.2C capacity drop (80% new battery condition)
- BMS: integrated
- Bluetooth: NO
- self-discharge: <2%/month
- charging temperature: 0° to 45°C
- Discharge temperature: -20° to 60°C
- Storage temperature: -5° to 45°C
- contacts: faston 6.3 mm
- protection: IP65
- dimensions (LxWxH): 151 x 65 x 94 mm
- weight: 0.95kg
Charging instructions:
Charging by CC/CV method: first with constant current (CC), ideally 0.2-0.5C (for 10Ah battery 2-5A, 50Ah 10-25A etc), maximum 1C. After reaching a voltage of 3.65V/cell, i.e. 14.6V for a 12V battery, charge with this constant voltage until the charging current drops to 0.02C.Then the battery is fully charged and charging should be interrupted or the CV reduced to about 3.5V/cell.
Do not charge at temperatures <0°C
Applicable chargers:
AC-DC: -automatic mains chargers with LiFePO4 battery charging option. Many models on the market, e.g. G489, G826 etc.
G910,911E,G923...)
DC-DC chargers: - used in the case of charging a second battery from the on-board network of caravans or boats where a starter lead acid battery is primarily used. (G495, G495A, G495B, G496A, G496B)
Step-up/step-down CC/CV modules: - These are essentially DC-DC chargers where the charging parameters are set by the user. (M399,M399A, M399B)
Integrated BMS function:
-balancing the charging of individual cells- usually only works up to a certain value of charging current, typically 0.2C
-disconnecting cells from the power supply when charging voltage or current is excessively high.
-disconnection of cells from the load at a voltage <2.5V/cell (10V for a 12V battery)
