Product description

LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) batteries with built-in BMS are characterized by their very low weight and high number of operating cycles - their lifetime is approximately 6000 cycles at a DoD of 60%.

The high cyclability and very low self-discharge make the LiFePO4 battery ideal for both emergency power systems and off-grid installations.

Its light weight allows for use in mobile vehicles (such as caravans, food trucks) and boats.

The built-in BMS system allows the battery to be stored safely without losing its nominal capacity for long periods of time and manages the battery charging and discharging processes.

BLUETOOTH MODULE AND MOBILE APP

The battery has a built-in Bluetooth module that allows connection to a phone.

Thanks to a dedicated app, the user can monitor key operating parameters:

state of charge and remaining capacity,
charging and discharging current,
current voltage,
discharge capacity.

ADVANTAGES OF USING A HEATING MAT

Safe charging at low temperatures - LiFePO4 batteries cannot be charged at temperatures below freezing as this could cause permanent damage. The heating mat raises the temperature of the cells to protect them from damage.
Maintaining optimum performance - batteries lose capacity in cold environments. The mat provides the right operating conditions and ensures that the battery retains its full capacity.
Longer life - reducing the impact of low temperatures results in less cell wear and longer battery life.
Automatic temperature control - in modern BMS systems, the mat only starts when it is needed, minimising energy consumption.
Higher reliability - LiFePO4 batteries with heating mats work seamlessly even in freezing climates, energy storage systems, emergency systems and photovoltaic installations.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

When powering equipment with an electric motor (including propeller motors), it is mandatory to use a DC fuse on the (+) circuit of the battery with a value no greater than the maximum load current indicated on the cover.

Loading the battery with a starting current that can be 5-10 times the rated operating current (e.g. in motors, compressors, refrigerators, air conditioners) can cause permanent damage to the LiFePO4 battery with BMS , which is not covered by the warranty.

AGM batteries are recommended for starting marine engines with electric starters because the maximum current of LiFePO4 batteries is limited by the BMS to 100-150 A, which is too low for starter motors.

The maximum charging voltage is 14.6 V.

After a long period of inactivity (e.g. after winter), the battery should not be charged at high current - a maximum current of 10 A is recommended.

Check the maximum voltage offered by your charger so that you do not exceed 14.6 V , this could damage the cells.

These batteries can be fully charged at 14 V, but the process will be slower.
