DC-DC charger Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-18A (220W) isolated

The Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger is a professional DC-DC adaptive three-stage charger with built-in Bluetooth functionality. It is intended for use in dual battery systems in vehicles or boats where a (smart) alternator and starter battery are used to charge the service battery. The unit can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth and controlled remotely with a remote on/off switch. The charger is also equipped with a motor detection mechanism.
Orion Tr-Smart chargers are available in 12V or 24V versions and are suitable for both lead-acid batteries and lithium batteries. Models up to 400 W are available. In addition, you can connect an unlimited number of units in parallel to increase the output power.
It is suitable for use at high ambient temperatures, up to 55 °C, and at full rated output power up to 40 °C.

With Bluetooth Smart connectivity:

Adaptive three-stage charging algorithm: fast - absorption - floating:
- for lead-acid batteries, it is important that during mild discharges the absorption time is short, thus avoiding overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption time increases automatically to ensure the battery is fully charged.

Remote on/off: A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected to the two-pole connector, or the H (right) terminal of the two-pole connector can be switched to the positive battery terminal or the L terminal

All models are equipped with short-circuit protection and can be connected in parallel to increase the output current:
