The Fire Guard detector reacts in real time to the presence of smoke from incipient fires. When multiple detectors are used within a single system, they can be interconnected. The device is powered by a single 3 V CR123A lithium battery for up to 3 years of operation. SAFE Keeper wireless communication
SAFE Keeper is a radio protocol developed for SAFE alarm system products. It operates at an operating frequency of 868.0-868.6 MHz and provides a communication range between system devices of up to a distance in excess of 2,000 m in an open area without interruption. It ensures uninterrupted interaction between the central unit and the alarm system devices. It is protected by AES128 encryption and a bi-directional communication mechanism, thus ensuring a high level of security of the transmitted data. SAFE Keeper guarantees uninterrupted interaction between the central unit and the individual devices, underlining the maximum and effective protection of the wireless security system.
Unique dual-spectrum smoke chamber technology
A dual-spectrum optical sensor with blue and infrared LED sources with different wavelengths has been integrated into the dust- and insect-proof, smoke detection chamber. The chamber design is directly interfaced to the AI SAFE microprocessor. It thus offers the most reliable detection method, which, combined with a prediction algorithm, allows the measurement of microparticle concentrations directly in the air and in real time. This unique technology can determine the size of volatile particles inside the optical chamber and respond only to the real threat of smoke, ignoring the similar composition of water vapour or other fumes.
Responding only to real threats
For residential fire detection systems, the priority is to inform occupants in a timely manner of an impending real danger. The AI SAFE microprocessor was developed based on a detailed analysis of the combustion properties of materials and works with a prediction algorithm that compares data from a dual-spectrum optical sensor and filters out the potential for false alarms in real time. If the recorded data corresponds to liquid water vapour particles or other types of fumes, the detector will not respond. However, if the dynamic pattern of the data matches the actual smoke particulate parameters of the fire, the detector will immediately trigger a fire alarm.
Fire alarm signalling
If the smoke concentration reaches a set value during detection, Fire Guard will automatically trigger a loud 85 dB audible alarm signal accompanied by the flashing of a red LED to indicate a fire alarm signal. This is a targeted way of attracting the attention of building occupants by means of a high level of noise and an intense LED indication that a fire has started in some part of the building. The purpose of a fire alarm is to immediately respond to an alarm event or to move people from the scene of an emergency to a safe zone.
SIC technology and remote alarm silencing by IR remote control
The detector has a combination button with TEST and SILENCE function, which is designed both for testing and verifying the correct functioning of the device and for temporary silencing of the detector. If you know the cause of the fire alarm activation and need to silence the loud siren sound, there is no need to go to the detector itself to silence it using the button. SIC technology allows you to remotely silence the audible alarm by pressing any button on a standard IR remote control (most controls for home appliances such as TVs).
With IZOVAX protection even in rooms with high humidity
The electronic components and circuit board of the Fire Guard smoke detector are coated with an insulating and protective layer of IZOVAX nanoparticle paint and, thanks to the innovative technology of the dual-spectrum optical sensing chamber, which can distinguish smoke particles from water vapour, the device can be installed even in very humid environments (near bathrooms, drying rooms, kitchens or technical rooms), unlike conventional fire detectors.
Fire man bodyguard
The power supply is provided by an integrated 3 V lithium battery (replaceable) offering an extremely long service life of up to 3 years. Battery operation allows for quick and easy installation. As soon as the battery capacity falls below the preset limit level, the detector will inform you in advance and will continue to function properly after battery replacement. After more than 10 years of protection and with a 30-day advance notice, the detector will notify you of the end of life and automatically alert you that it needs to be completely replaced.
