Are you building your own battery storage? Don't underestimate the insulation. This ultra-thin but extremely durable epoxy board is a critical safety feature of any professional LiFePO4 pack.
When prismatic cells (box-type) are stacked, they expand and contract slightly during charge cycles. Without adequate insulation between the aluminum cell shells, the blue insulating foil may be penetrated and a catastrophic short circuit may result. Our FR4 epoxy plate is designed for exactly this purpose.

Why choose this insulation board?
- Extreme electrical strength: FR4 material has excellent dielectric properties. Even with a thickness of only 1 mm, it provides a 100% barrier against breakdown between cells.
- Mechanical stability and abrasion protection: the aluminium cell casings must not rub against each other. The epoxy plate acts as a mechanical separator to handle the pressures generated by the compression of the cells in the battery box.
- High heat resistance. This plate is non-flammable and stable even at elevated temperatures, increasing the fire safety of the entire system.
- Minimal dimensions, maximum capacity: with a thickness of only 0.5 mm, it does not unnecessarily increase the dimensions of your battery. You won't lose precious millimetres between cells, but you will gain peace of mind.
- Easy machinability: the 500 × 500 mm format can be easily adapted (cut or sliced) to the exact dimensions of your cells (e.g. 280Ah, 100Ah or 304Ah).
