Product description
ELEGOO ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylic - weatherproof plastic) filament in white is great for projects that will be exposed to sun, rain or high temperatures. The material will not change color, will not crack and will remain durable even after a long time outdoors. This makes it well suited for printing garden, technical and decorative elements.
Stability at high temperatures
ASA has higher heat resistance than popular plastics such as PLA (polylactide - biodegradable plant-based plastic) or PETG (modified polyethylene terephthalate - easy-to-print, durable material). It does not lose its shape even at temperatures close to 100 °C and its mechanical properties remain stable. In terms of impact resistance, durability and stiffness, it is comparable to ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene - plastic used in electronics housings, among other things), so it is well suited for functional projects.
Always clean printing
The filament is precisely wound with a diameter tolerance of ± 0.02 mm, which reduces the risk of jams and ensures even material feeding. The cardboard spool is recycled and vacuum-packed with a desiccant, so the material does not absorb water and does not form bubbles. Suitable for most FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printers.
Technical parameters:
Color: White
Weight: 1 kg
Recommended printing settings:
Pre-print drying settings: 80 ± 5°C
Ambient temperature and humidity: ? 80°C, ? 20% relative humidity (storage with desiccant)
Nozzle temperature: 240-270 °C
Bed temperature (depending on printer and surface): 90 - 100°C
Work surface type: Textured PEI (polyetherimide - a durable, adhesive material used as a base for 3D printing) or other compatible surface.
Print Speed: Less than 270 mm/s
Physical Properties:
Tensile Strength (XY - measured in the horizontal plane of the print, where the material is strongest): 35 ± 2 MPa
Elongation at Break (XY): 9.4% ± 2.3%
Flexural Strength (XY): 65 ± 4 MPa
Flexural Modulus of Elasticity (XY): 1905 ± 131 MPa
Impact Strength (XY): 40.1 ± 3.7 kJ/m2
