Product description
ELEGOO PLA-CF (carbon fiber doped polylactide) filament combines the ease of printing typical of PLA (polylactide - a biodegradable plastic of plant origin) with higher mechanical strength. The addition of carbon fibers increases the rigidity of the material and reduces its shrinkage upon cooling, which leads to greater dimensional accuracy. This type of material is well-suited for technical parts, housings and prototypes that must be durable but lightweight.
Precise and aesthetic models
The addition of carbon fibers reduces shrinkage and deformation of the material, resulting in precise and well-fitting parts. The printed models have a matte surface and barely visible layer lines, which provides a professional effect without further processing. The material is suitable for most FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling - a technology that deposits molten plastic layer by layer) 3D printers.
Trouble-free printing
The filament has a diameter of 1.75 mm and a dimensional tolerance of ± 0.02 mm, which facilitates uniform feeding without jamming. It is vacuum packed with a desiccant to prevent bubbles and nozzle clogging. It can be used alone or in combination with classic PLA while maintaining high print quality.
Technical parameters:
Color: Black
Weight: 1 kg
Recommended print settings:
Pre-print drying settings: 55 ± 5°C
Ambient temperature and humidity: ? 50°C, ? 20% relative humidity (storage with desiccant)
Nozzle temperature: 210 - 240°C
Table temperature (depending on printer and surface): 35 - 65°C
Type of work surface: Textured PEI (polyetherimide - a durable, adhesive material used as a base for 3D printing) or other compatible surface.
Print speed: Less than 300 mm/s
Physical properties:
Density: 1.24 g/cm3
Melting point: 165°C
Deflection temperature under load: 56°C
Softening temperature (Vicat test): 64°C

Elongation at break (XY): 7.5% ± 1.3%
Flexural strength (XY): 78 ± 2 MPa
Flexural modulus of elasticity (XY): 3341 ± 172 MPa
