The ProStar Profi 6 sand filter (formerly BlackStar 6) is, in principle, inspired by nature - here, too, rainwater is transformed into crystal clear spring water by filtering in permeable layers of rock. In the sand filtration, the water passes through the quartz sand, where even fine dirt is collected and only clean, filtered water returns to the pool. Therefore, it is often important to flush the filter sand to prevent dirt in the sand. We recommend flushing the filtration at least once a week. The ProStar Profi 6 sand filtration system consists of a filtration vessel that holds 35 kg of filter sand. The container is made of high quality polypropylene (PP). It has no seams, resists corrosion and commonly available chemicals used in swimming pools. The filtration is equipped with a drain valve, a pressure gauge, built-in filter vessel components including an easy-to-operate 6-way valve (which is built into the filter pan lid), a 450W pump motor, a plastic base for on-site installation. The system is made of high-quality materials and strictly adheres to technical standards and undergoes final inspection.
