Product description
The PWM controller allows lead-acid batteries to be charged with a current of up to 30A and enables the connection of PV panels with a maximum output voltage of 25V (for a system voltage of 12V). It is equipped with an LCD display for setting and viewing operating parameters.
Brief description of PWM controllers: PWM solar controllers connect solar panels directly to the battery being charged and, once the set or specified battery terminal voltage is reached, subsequent regulation is achieved by pulsed current limitation or interruption. This occurs at a frequency of a few to tens of Hz, and on some controllers this is indicated by a flashing LED labelled ‘charge’ or ‘solar’. The controllers are suitable for panels with a system voltage matching that of the battery; otherwise, losses occur as part of the power is wasted due to the panel’s unsuitable V-A characteristics. Technical specifications:
Rated battery voltage range for active charging: 11.5–12.8 V (23–25.6 V) Lead-acid battery – OPEN – mode b01 Lead-acid battery – GEL – mode B02
Pb battery – LifePo4 – mode b03 Max. input voltage: 25 V for a 12 V battery, 50 V for a 24 V battery Max. charging current: 30 A
USB output: 2 x 5V/2A Dimensions: 187 x 98 x 50 mm Weight: 370 g
