Product description
Intelligent automatic lead-acid battery charger with seven-stage automatic charging, designed for permanent connection to the battery being charged. Suitable for backup power supplies, caravans, island systems, etc. Designed for 24V 40-300Ah liquid dielectric, AGM and AGM GEL (optional) lead acid starter and traction batteries
Charging phase:
C-1 Desulfation:
Pulsed current charging. This phase starts automatically when the battery voltage is below 11V and precedes the standard charge cycle.
C-2 Soft Start:
A phase of gradually increasing charging current up to a maximum of 25A.
C-3 Constant current charging:
A key phase of the charging cycle. Constant current charging until the clamp voltage reaches 28.4 to 29.6V (selectable in three stages)
C-4 Absorption Charging :
Charging at a constant voltage of 28.4-29.6V while gradually decreasing charging current
C-5 Battery test:
During the 90 sec. test, the battery is discharged while the clamp voltage is measured. If the test is successful, the last, maintenance stage automatically follows. If the test is unsuccessful and the clamp voltage drops rapidly during the test, stage 6 follows.
C-6 Reconditioning Charging:
In reconditioning mode, the battery is charged for 4 hours at a reduced constant current.
C-7 Maintenance mode:
Maintain battery clamp voltage of 26.4-27.6V (selectable in three stages).
