Bird repeller DERAMAX AVES

The Deramax-Aves device is intended for use as a bird scarer (repellent). It generates specific sub-ultrasonic signals that are very unpleasant for birds, so that after a short time they leave the protected area and look for a new refuge outside the area protected by the scarer. In our conditions, the device can be used primarily as a scarer of pigeons, starlings, sparrows, blackbirds, ravens, crows, woodpeckers, spotted woodpeckers, etc. The operation of the device is completely ecological without the use of chemicals.

The Deramax-Aves scarer is a product of the Czech company Deramax.cz s.r.o. with its registered office in Valašské Meziříčí. Our company has been developing and manufacturing professional ultrasonic pest repellers since 2001. For over 20 years, we have been improving our products based on current scientific knowledge, our experience and the experience of our customers. We have long been the largest manufacturer of electronic pest repellers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Pulse operation of the battery-powered scarer:
One of the key advantages of the Deramax-Aves battery-powered scarer is the optimized pulse operation, which allows the generation of ultrasonic signals with a very high sound pressure level with minimal energy consumption. The optimized pulse operation of the scarer, and thus the pulsed energy consumption from the battery, means several times higher efficiency of using the battery capacity compared to conventional types of battery-powered scarers. And this means a multiple extension of the battery life.

Resonant amplification of the ultrasonic signal:
The Deramax-Aves scarer uses resonant amplification of the signal, which is important for achieving the highest possible performance with the lowest possible energy consumption. We calibrate the frequencies generated by the electronic circuits of the scarer with the resonant frequencies of the used piezo transducers (ultrasonic "emitters") within each production series.

Power supply of the Deramax-Aves scarer:
Deramax-Aves is a scarer with battery power using a regular 9 V battery. A 9 V lithium battery will keep the device running for 12 months. A 9 V alkaline battery will keep the scarer running for 6 months.

Target group of pests:
Pigeons, starlings, sparrows, blackbirds, ravens, crows, woodpeckers, partridges, etc.

Resistance of the scarer:
Indoor and outdoor use. The scarer is resistant to water, snow, humidity, dust, high temperatures and frost (- 25°C to + 80°C).

Comfort of operation:
The device does not need to be set up, it works completely automatically. Just install the battery and turn on the built-in switch.

Placement of the scarecrow:
A common solution for placing the scarecrow and usually the most practical solution, especially when used indoors, is to place it on the ground in one of the corners of the protected area with the front facing the center of the protected area. However, it is also possible to attach the scarecrow using screws or double-sided adhesive tape to a fence, wall, post, window, door, etc., which is most suitable for use outdoors. In this case, we also recommend directing the front of the scarecrow to the center of the protected area.

Effective range of the Deramax-Aves scarecrow:
The maximum effective distance in front of the scarecrow is up to 14 meters. The effective area is up to 90 m2. The effective angle of view is 120 degrees. The repeller therefore has high performance and the special design of the device ensures a wide effective angle of 120 degrees, and even at the limit of the declared angle of view (i.e. outside the main direction of signal radiation), the repeller still generates at least 83% of the declared sound pressure level. The ultrasonic signal of course spreads beyond the stated angle of view of 120 degrees, but the efficiency is lower here, and therefore, for the sake of objectivity, we indicate an effective angle of view of "only" 120 degrees.

Impact on pets: The Deramax-Aves repeller has a negative impact on domestic and farm animals, such as dogs, cats, horses, sheep, rabbits, cattle, within its range of action. However, if the animals have the opportunity to leave the area protected by the repeller, there is no need to address this fact further
