Product description
High-performance cleaner designed to thoroughly remove silicone, grease, oil, wax, dirt, tar, MS polymers and adhesive residues from various surfaces.
It is especially recommended in places where optimal surface preparation is required before re-filling joints with silicone sealants.
COLOUR
Transparent.
PACKAGING
200 ml.
USAGE
Removing silicone, grease and other contaminants from surfaces.
Cleaning tools and equipment after use
Pre-treating surfaces to ensure better adhesion of subsequent coatings or treatments.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Air and can temperature during use: +5 °C to +30 °C.
When replacing old silicone or sealant, it is important to remember that hardened sealants and silicones can only be removed mechanically using the right tool, such as a sealant scraper or plastic spatula.
After scraping off large amounts of silicone, a thin layer of silicone often remains on the surface.
This layer can negatively affect the adhesion of any new coatings or sealants applied later.
Use a spray-on product to remove this thin layer.
There is no need to wait for it to show - it starts working immediately.
Once you have sprayed the product onto the thin layer of silicone, start scraping it off while the surface is still wet.
Make sure you actively scrape the silicone off while there is liquid present.
If the product dries before scraping, its effectiveness will be significantly reduced.
You should see small amounts of sealant coming off as you scrape.
Repeat the process if necessary to ensure the surface is completely clean.
LIMITATIONS
Test a small area first to ensure compatibility with surfaces.
May dissolve paints and other coatings from surfaces. Be careful with colored surfaces. The product will stain painted areas.
Observe the expiration date.
CLEANING
Wipe off excess product with a clean cloth and allow to evaporate.
If necessary, rinse the area with water.
STORAGE
Guaranteed shelf life of 24 months from date of production when stored in closed original packaging in a dry place and protected from direct sunlight and heat sources at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Pressurized canister. Use only in well-ventilated areas.
Do not smoke during application!
If necessary, wear protective equipment (gloves).
Keep out of reach of children.
For further information, see the label and the safety data sheet (SDS).
