The refractometer with a Sodium/Chlorine scale is designed for measuring the salt content in brines, aquariums, swimming pools, etc. in the range of 0 – 25%.
Instructions for use:
Measuring with a refractometer is very simple, just drop a drop of the measured substance onto the inclined optical prism of the device, close the prism cover (the substance will spread out), look into the eyepiece of the device against the light, or focus it and on the appropriate scale in the field of view you can immediately read the salinity value (%) according to the interface between the illuminated and unilluminated part.
Large, easy-to-read scale for salt content in % (0 – 25% Sodium/Chlorine). Possibility of re-sharpening the scale. For calibration, use distilled water and set 0% with a screwdriver.
