The FNIRSI DSO-TC4 is a handheld 3-in-1 multifunction instrument that combines a digital oscilloscope, an electronic component tester and a DDS signal generator. Compared to its predecessor (DSO-TC3), it offers significantly higher performance, especially in oscilloscope mode, where the bandwidth has been increased from 500 kHz to 10 MHz. The DSO-TC4 is an ideal choice for beginners, students and technicians looking for a portable, affordable instrument for basic measurements where the laboratory precision of high-end benchtop instruments is not required.
Key Features:
Oscilloscope: real sampling rate of 48 MSa/s (TC3 had 10 MSa/s) and analog bandwidth of 10 MHz. Supports auto-adjust function (AUTO) and overvoltage protection up to ±400 V when using a 10:1 probe.
Component Tester: Automatically identifies and measures a wide range of components, including transistors (NPN, PNP, MOSFET, JFET, IGBT), diodes (including Zener up to 32 V), resistors, capacitors, and inductors.
Signal generator: Allows output of 13 types of waveforms (sine, rectangle, triangle, pulse, etc.) in the frequency range 0-50 kHz with adjustable amplitude 0-3 V.
Additional tools: includes continuity tester (ringing), voltage measurement (0-40 V DC), infrared decoding (NEC protocol) and support for DS18B20 temperature sensors and DHT11 humidity sensors.
Data sharing: Unlike the TC3, the TC4 supports USB Image Sharing, which allows the transfer of screenshots and measured data to a PC for further analysis.
