PENOSIL multi-application assembly foam 278 is a one-component tubular foam designed for indoor and outdoor use.
Due to its high efficiency and high expansion after application, this foam is ideal for filling larger holes and gaps.
It adheres perfectly to most materials such as wood, concrete, stone, plaster, metal, PVC and polystyrene.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Surfaces must be clean and free of dust, loose particles, ice and oil stains.
For faster curing and a better final result, spray dry surfaces with water (only at temperatures above 0 °C).
Shake the can thoroughly at least 20 times. Remove the cap. Hold the can with the foam in a vertical position with the valve upwards. Screw the applicator with the straw firmly onto the can valve.
Hold the can upside down during application. The foam output can be adjusted using the applicator trigger.
Fill the joints to approximately 50% of their volume. For larger gaps, apply the foam in layers and lightly moisten the surface between layers. Excess cured foam can be cut off.
Air temperature during use: -10°C to +30°C.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces must be free from dust, loose particles, ice and grease.
Dry substrates should be moistened (only at temperatures above 0°C) to ensure best results.
Adjacent surfaces should be protected with paper, protective foil or other suitable material.
If necessary, additional external cover should be used to protect against weathering such as rain, snow or wind.
LIMITATIONS
Will not adhere to polyethylene (PE), Teflon (PTFE) or silicone surfaces.
Do not use at temperatures below -10°C.
Cured foam should be protected from UV radiation with suitable protective material.
Due to high expansion after application, lighter structural elements must be securely fixed before applying the foam.
Do not cover until the foam has fully cured.

STORAGE
The guaranteed shelf life is 18 months from the date of production, when stored in the original, unopened packaging in a cool and dry place at temperatures from +5°C to +30°C.
Do not expose to temperatures above +50°C, do not store near heat sources and in direct sunlight.
