Product description

PENOSIL PU low-expansion foam for doors 155 is a low-pressure polyurethane gun foam, which is characterized by very low pressure during curing.

The foam is intended for insulation and sealing of pressure-sensitive and movable joints.
Low expansion during curing and low expansion after curing.
Fire resistance, class B2 according to DIN 4102-1.
Does not deform the structure.
Very good adhesion to many building materials.
Excellent thermal and sound insulation properties.
Sound attenuation index - 62 dB.
Excellent sealing properties.

COLOR
Cream.

PACKAGING
Aerosol canister 700 ml.

APPLICATION
Sealing and installation of windows and doors.
Sealing of various narrow, pressure-sensitive and movable joints.
Thermal and acoustic insulation.
Reduces thermal bridging.
Adheres to: wood, concrete, stone, plaster, metals, PVC and polystyrene.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Remove dust, loose particles, ice and oil stains from surfaces.
For best results, spray dry surfaces with water (only at temperatures above freezing).
Shake the can vigorously at least 20 times.
Hold the can vertically with the valve facing up.
Remove the valve cover.
Screw the can firmly onto the gun by holding the gun handle with one hand and turning the can with the other.
Do not point the gun at people.
Do not screw the can onto the gun with the valve upside down. Do not screw the gun onto the can. Do not bend the can when tightening.
When applying the foam, hold the can upside down.
The foam output can be adjusted using the gun regulator and the metering screw.
Fill the joints to approximately 70% as the foam expands.
For larger joints, apply the foam in several layers, slightly moistening between layers for best results.
Excess foam can be trimmed with a knife after it has fully cured.

LIMITATIONS
Low expansion foam will not adhere to Teflon, polyethylene and silicone surfaces.
Cured foam is not resistant to UV radiation and direct sunlight, so it must be covered with a suitable impermeable material (sealant, compound, paint or other product).
Do not cover until the foam has fully cured.
Do not use at temperatures below -10°C.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Air temperature during use: -10°C to +30°C.
Protect adjacent surfaces with paper, plastic film or other suitable material.
If necessary, protect the outer part with an additional cover to protect it from weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, etc.).
Due to the wide variety of building materials, we recommend carrying out a preliminary compatibility test.
When working at low temperatures, the container should be warmed to room temperature (approximately 20°C).

CLEANING
Remove uncured foam from the surface using Penosil 929 foam cleaner.
Penosil 995 foam remover softens hardened foam and makes it easier to remove.

STORAGE
Guaranteed shelf life is 12 months from date of production, provided it is stored in its original, unopened packaging in a cool, dry place at a temperature of +5°C to +30°C.
Do not expose to temperatures above +50°C, do not store near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
Store and transport in an upright position.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Pressurized container. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Do not smoke during application! Wear personal protective equipment if necessary. Keep out of reach of children. For more detailed safety information, see the label and the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
