How does it work?

SpinTor contains the active substance spinosad, a natural product obtained by the fermentation activity of the bacterium Saccharopolyspora spinosa, which is commonly found in soil. As a natural product, spinosad (a mixture of two biological components - spinosyn A and spinosyn D) is characterized by extremely low toxicity to humans and warm-blooded animals, so it is environmentally friendly. SpinTor acts as a fire and contact insecticide. It is characterized by a new mechanism of action. To date, neither insect pests have been shown to be resistant to SpinTor nor cross-resistance with other active substances. The intake of the active substance by the pest occurs through food intake and direct contact with the substance. The action of the active substance consists in influencing the activity of neurons in insect individuals (which ultimately leads to neuronal hyperactivity and muscle activity). The effect occurs after only a few hours; subsequently, insect pests die. SpinTor acts on pests from the order of butterflies (Lepidoptera), beetles (Coleoptera), diptera (Diptera) and thrips (Thysanoptera). SpinTor does not affect sucking insects (aphids).

How to use it?

- By spraying the whole plant according to the signaling, generally approx. in the 1st and 3rd week in June and then again in the 1st and 3rd week in August (application at the time of caterpillar hatching)
- The interval between applications is 7-9 days
- Max. 2 x for vegetation
- We end the spraying with perfect wetting, at the latest with the beginning of the scattering of application liquid drops from the plant surface
- The product must not affect the surrounding vegetation (for which this product is not registered)
