Product description

PENOSIL PU adhesive easygun 871 is a foam adhesive for XPS boards, ideal for fixing boards to foundations, basement walls and underground parts of buildings.

Provides excellent adhesion to bitumen coatings, roofing felt, bricks, concrete and plaster.
It is characterized by immediate initial adhesion, fast setting time and high thermal insulation.
It is resistant to aging and works in a wide temperature range, which makes it a reliable choice for demanding construction applications.
Immediate initial adhesion.
Excellent adhesion to roofing felt and asphalt.
Use in a wide temperature range from -5 °C to +30 °C.
Correction time up to 10 minutes.
Next stage of work after only 2 hours.

COLOR
Gray.

PACKAGING
Aerosol canister 750 ml.

USAGE
Fixing thermal insulation boards:
Made of extruded polystyrene XPS.
Made of expanded polystyrene EPS.
For substrates with bitumen waterproofing in underground parts of buildings and for mineral substrates, e.g. concrete, when performing perimeter thermal insulation.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Before use, read the safety instructions in the safety data sheet.
The substrate should be stable, flat, dry, free of dust, dirt, contamination, old and peeling layers of paint and coatings.
Before gluing XPS or EPS boards, the bases must be waterproofed.
Substrate penetration.
The layer of applied bitumen rubber compound can be sprinkled with mineral powder to increase its adhesion. It is worth testing the adhesion of the board to the substrate by gluing it and removing it after at least 2 hours.
Do not apply the adhesive to matte or water-contaminated surfaces.
Preparing the polyurethane adhesive.
The temperature of the can should be between +5°C and +25°C.
Shake the can thoroughly for approximately 30 seconds before use.
Screw the can onto the gun.
The gun temperature must not be lower than the temperature of the can.

Application
Wear protective gloves.
Apply the polyurethane adhesive by holding the can upside down.
Apply the polyurethane adhesive to the board in vertical strips with a diameter of 2-3 cm, maintaining equal distances of 20-30 cm between the strips and 2-3 cm from the edge.
Immediately after applying the adhesive to the thermal insulation board, place it against the wall (within 3 minutes), press firmly and level it with a long spatula.
The position of the panels can be corrected within 10 minutes of their placement on the wall.
To support the panels, you can lean them on the foundation pads; The panels can be supported until the adhesive hardens, which is approximately 10 minutes.

LIMITATIONS
The product does not adhere to polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamide, silicone and Teflon.
The curing speed and correction time strongly depend on the prevailing temperature and humidity - the higher the temperature, the shorter this time; The lower the temperature and closer to the minimum application temperature, the longer the correction time may be.
The manufacturer recommends correcting the position of each glued panel.
After opening the package of polyurethane adhesive, it should be used up within 1 week.
Before use, please read the manufacturer's technical data sheet and perform a test release of the polyurethane adhesive.
Do not use in rain or strong sunlight.
The quality and technical condition of the applicator used affects the parameters of the final product.
Do not use the adhesive in rooms without access to fresh air or in poorly ventilated areas and protect the container from heating above +50 °C.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Store the container with the gun in a vertical position (gun pointing upwards).
Fresh adhesive can be removed with polyurethane foam cleaner, but remember that the cleaner can damage polystyrene boards.
After hardening, the adhesive can only be removed mechanically or with hardened foam cleaner. Before cleaning, perform a test on an inconspicuous area.
If work is to be interrupted for more than 15 minutes, clean the gun nozzle with polyurethane foam cleaner and lock the trigger, leaving the container screwed in until the next use.
After finishing work, the gun must be thoroughly cleaned with polyurethane foam cleaner. To do this, unscrew the can of glue and spray it onto the gun sleeve and barrel. Then screw the can on
Apply the cleaner to the gun and drain the contents until the cleaner starts to flow out on its own. Finally, remove the can and tighten the adjusting screw.

CLEANING
Fresh glue can be removed with polyurethane foam cleaner, but remember that the cleaner can damage polystyrene boards.
Once hardened, the glue can only be removed mechanically or with a hardened foam cleaner.
After finishing the work, the gun must be thoroughly cleaned with polyurethane foam cleaner.
Apply the cleaner to the gun and drain the contents until the cleaner starts to flow out on its own. Finally, remove the can and tighten the adjusting screw.

STORAGE
Guaranteed shelf life of 12 months from the date of production, when stored in the closed original packaging, in a dry place, at a temperature between +5 °C and +30 °C. Do not store near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Store and transport in an upright position.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Do not use the adhesive in rooms without access to fresh air or in poorly ventilated areas and protect the container from heating above +50 °C.
