APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Cut off the tip of the cartridge.
Screw on the application nozzle and cut a hole at a 45° angle so that it is slightly larger than the gap to be sealed.
Insert the cartridge into the sealant gun and apply the compound, maintaining even pressure on the gun trigger and moving the nozzle smoothly along the gap.
Remove excess sealant and smooth the surface with a suitable tool.
RESTRICTIONS
Do not use on bituminous substrates or on building materials that may release oils, plasticizers or solvents (e.g. natural rubber, chloroprene, EPDM).
Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) or PTFE (Teflon®).
Do not use at temperatures below +5°C.
Not recommended for sealing natural stone surfaces such as marble and granite.
Do not use as an adhesive for mirrors.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free of dust, loose particles, oil and old sealant residues.
Non-porous surfaces should be cleaned with solvent and a clean, lint-free cotton cloth.
Remove excess solvent with a dry cloth.
Cut off the tip of the cartridge.
Screw on the application nozzle and cut a hole at a 45° angle slightly larger than the joint to be sealed.
Insert the cartridge into the sealant gun and apply the sealant, maintaining even pressure on the gun trigger and moving the nozzle smoothly along the joint.
Remove excess sealant and smooth the surface with a suitable tool.
If necessary, protect adjacent surfaces with masking tape.
For wide gaps, use an expansion joint to ensure the correct thickness and shape of the joint.
Ensure sufficient ventilation in the workplace.
During curing, ensure that the sealed surfaces remain clean and not exposed to mechanical stress.
Due to the variety of building materials, a preliminary compatibility test is recommended.
Application temperature: from +5 °C to +40 °C.
CLEANING
Uncured product can be removed with a solvent.
Cured product can be removed mechanically and then wiped with a damp cloth.
STORAGE
The guaranteed shelf life is 12 months from the date of production, provided that it is stored in a closed, original packaging, in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight, at a temperature between +5 °C and +30 °C.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Ensure sufficient ventilation during application and wear the necessary personal protective equipment.
For more detailed safety information, please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
