Bonding of glass blocks.
Sealing of joints exposed to mechanical stress.
Adheres to: glass, ceramics, enamel and plastics such as epoxies, polyesters, polyacrylates, laminates.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Cut off the tip of the cartridge.
Screw on the application nozzle and cut it at a 45° angle, creating a hole slightly larger than the joint to be sealed.
Insert the cartridge into the sealant gun.
Apply the sealant by applying even pressure to the gun trigger and moving the nozzle smoothly along the joint.
Remove excess sealant and smooth the surface with a suitable tool.
RESTRICTIONS
Do not use on bituminous substrates or on building materials that may release oils, plasticizers or solvents (e.g. natural or synthetic rubber, chloroprene, EPDM, flexible PVC).
Does not adhere to polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP) or PTFE (Teflon®).
Do not use at temperatures below +5°C.
Do not use on natural stone surfaces such as marble and granite.
Cannot be painted.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free from dust, loose particles, oil and old sealant residues.
Non-porous surfaces should be cleaned with solvent and a clean, lint-free cotton cloth.
Remove excess solvent with a clean cloth.
If necessary, protect adjacent surfaces with masking tape.
For wide joints, use an expansion rod to ensure the correct thickness and shape of the joint.
Ensure sufficient ventilation in the workplace.
During curing, ensure that the sealed surfaces remain clean and not exposed to mechanical stress.
Due to the variety of building materials, a preliminary compatibility test is recommended.
Application temperature: from +5 °C to +40 °C.
CLEANING
Uncured product can be removed with solvent.
