Control your garden's electrical devices with this Nedis Zigbee smart plug (e.g. lights, sprinklers and heaters) easily from your smartphone, wherever you are, or with a simple voice command to your Google Home or Amazon Alexa device.
In addition to live control, you can also set an on/off schedule at preferred times or based on sunrise/sunset. This can be done for your own convenience when you are at home, or simulate your presence when you are actually away to deter thieves.
By combining several smart plugs or other products from the Nedis SmartLife range, you can create smart scenes that can be activated at the same time, or automations that are triggered by a camera, button, motion sensor or smoke detector.
The plug works via the Zigbee 3.0 protocol and is ideal for use in places where there is no stable Wi-Fi signal from the router, such as in the garage. By connecting the socket via the gateway, you create a mesh network through these sockets, making it very easy to have a smart socket in places with poor Wi-Fi signal.
Timer and schedule functions
With the timer function, your appliances automatically turn off or you can set a weekly schedule to turn your appliances on and off. This saves time and of course a lot of energy, as your appliances only run when you really need them. In the Nedis SmartLife app, you can easily create schedules for when you are not at home or on holiday. You can turn on a lamp or TV to simulate your presence and deter thieves from breaking in.
Power meter function
The integrated power meter allows you to monitor the smart plug's live and historical consumption measurements, so you can see how much electricity the product has consumed every day of the last year.
In addition, you can set the power meter as a trigger to control another smart device or to send a notification to your phone to let you know when the washing machine has finished washing or when it is using more energy than usual, which may indicate that maintenance is required.
Voice control
Using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant or Siri, you can control your connected devices and turn on your TV or lights without having to get up from the comfort of your chair or sofa.
