The ECO Solar Boost EVO series inverters represent a new generation of renowned and respected devices that allow the direct use of photovoltaic panels to power heating equipment without the need to connect to the distribution grid (on-grid) or purchase expensive batteries.

The main advantages of the EVO series inverter:
High performance and improved algorithm.
Maximum gains with MPPT: The integrated MPPT algorithm allows the inverter to intelligently and automatically regulate the amount of energy transferred to the heater, maximizing the energy collected from the PV panels in all weather conditions.
Priority dual output (2× mains socket). The system allows the connection of two heating devices (e.g. two boilers), with the device on Output 1 being heated first. Output 2 starts automatically when the thermostat of the first device reaches the desired temperature and stops drawing power.
Comprehensive electronic protection: the device has built-in protection against overload, short circuit, overvoltage and overheating (thermal protection at 80°C). In the event of any anomaly, the inverter safely switches off and signals the fault by flashing a green or red LED.
?? IMPORTANT WIRING NOTES:
Output number 1 (Priority): It is intended for any heating devices, including those with electronic controllers.
Output number 2 (Dependent): Is intended exclusively for operation of heating devices with a bimetallic thermostat. Heating devices with electronic controls must not be operated on this output.

The ECO Solar Boost EVO inverter enables a wide range of purely resistive heating devices to be powered directly from the PV panels:

Modern heating systems: ideal for infrared (IR) heaters and electric heating mats.
Easy installation and low cost:
The entire system is extremely simple to assemble and does not require complicated loosening. It consists of only three basic elements:
- ECO Solar Boost EVO MPPT-4000.
- Photovoltaic panels: Several standard PV panels of 400-700 W connected in series or series-parallel using standard MC4 integrated connectors. The total system voltage shall be in the range of 120-300 V (Voc at 25 °C), with an absolute operating maximum of 120-350 V DC for the inverter.
- Any compatible 200-4000 W resistance heating device fitted with a conventional heater (cartridge).How to select the right heater (cartridge)?The correct selection of the heater ensures the highest efficiency of the entire water heating system and ensures that the integrated MPPT algorithm can adjust the load resistance and use the panels to their maximum.
