Important notes for installation and correct operation:

- Load type (Key for functionality): The controller is designed for purely resistive loads only. It works great with common boiler heating coils, heating rods, PTC cells or radiant heaters. The device must not be inductive or capacitive in nature - it is not intended for powering motors, circulators or appliances with an integrated electronic control unit of their own!
- Heater specifications: the connected input power must not exceed 5000 W at 230 V AC and the internal resistance of the heater must not be less than 10.5 Ohm.
- Installation rules: The device requires installation in a vertical position (perpendicular to the wall) on a non-combustible substrate (e.g. concrete, brick) to ensure perfect passive cooling of the heatsink.
- Never enclose the controller in tight enclosures with no airflow.
