The SINUS PRO ULTRA PLUS 12000 solar inverter combines several functions: inverter, solar charger and battery charger. What distinguishes the SINUS PRO ULTRA PLUS 12000?

Wake-up function when the battery is deeply discharged

This function is used to reactivate (reactivate) a fully discharged and unresponsive lithium battery. In some cases, the battery needs a short activation pulse before it can start charging normally - this is exactly what this option provides.
You can set the duration of this pulse - from 6 to 300 seconds. The default setting is 6 seconds, which is usually sufficient for most situations.
The value can be increased if the device fails to wake up the battery in the default time.
The EQ ( equalization) function is the process of equalizing the voltage between cells in the battery to:

Optimize battery performance - ensuring that each cell in the battery operates in the optimal voltage range.
Extend battery life - prevents excessive wear and tear on some cells, which can lead to faster wear and degradation.
This feature is applicable to lead acid batteries with liquid electrolyte.
How does the inverter work in off-grid mode?
In off-grid mode, the solar inverter operates independently of the user's electrical grid. The energy obtained from the solar panels is stored in the batteries and then transferred to the connected load.

When using the SINUS PRO ULTRA PLUS series inverter for operation in photovoltaic installations (cyclic battery charging), we recommend using batteries that are best suited for this purpose, e.g. GEL VPRO SOLAR, DEEP CYCLE VPRO SOLAR or lithium LiFePO4.

Be sure to select the appropriate battery type and the appropriate charging current for the capacity in the power supply settings. Improper selection of battery charging parameters may result in battery damage and void the battery warranty. The use of maintenance-free AGM batteries (e.g. AGM series, AGM OPTI, AGM VPRO) in photovoltaic installations (cyclic charging systems) can lead to a faster loss of battery efficiency/capacity. Such batteries are designed and operate best in buffer mode (voltage backup, UPS systems).

As with other battery types, improper selection of charging current can lead to damage and void the battery warranty.
