Product description
The SY3024H PWM controller allows charging lead-acid batteries with a current of up to 30A and connecting PV panels with an output voltage of max. 25V(12V) or 50V(24V) up to a power of 360W(12V) or 720W(24V). It is equipped with an LCD display for setting and displaying operating parameters.
PWM solar controllers connect solar panels directly to the battery being charged and after reaching the set or given battery terminal voltage, subsequent regulation is solved by pulse limiting-interruption of the current. This happens at a frequency of units to tens of Hz and in some controllers it is indicated by flashing of the LED labeled "charge" or "solar". The controllers are suitable for panels with the same system voltage as the battery voltage, otherwise there are losses when part of the power is wasted due to the unsuitable V-A characteristic of the panel.
Technical parameters:
- nominal battery voltage range for active charging: 11.5–12.8V (23–25.6V)
- Pb battery – VRLA – mode b01
- Pb battery -VRLA GEL – mode B02
- Pb battery – with liquid dielectric – mode b03
- Max. PV panel power: 360W – 12V (720W – 24V)
- Max. input voltage: 25V for 12V battery, 50V for 24V battery
- Max. charging current: 30A
- Max. load current: 10A
- USB output: 2× 5V/2A
- dimensions: 133×70×30mm
- weight: 95g
Warning: after disconnecting from the battery, the controller does not remember the settings and will return to the factory settings.
