SOLARFAM 200Wp Caravan Solar Kit

We are offering you the opportunity to purchase an optimally designed solar system for off-grid locations on very favourable terms. This is one of the most frequently sold and used solar systems in our range. We recommend it to all customers who do not have any special or non-standard requirements. This system operates at a system voltage of 12V. PLEASE NOTE: The photograph of the kit is for illustrative purposes only. The components actually supplied may differ from those shown in the image. This kit does not include a battery. If your caravan does not have an on-board battery, we recommend choosing a sealed AGM, GEL or LiFePo battery from the solar battery section. We will be happy to help you make the right choice.

The kit includes a set of two 10m-long cables. MC4 connectors are crimped onto the ends of the cables for connection to the solar panel. You will also use part of the cable to connect the solar controller to the battery – simply install a safety disconnect switch on this cable as close to the battery as possible, following the diagram. The electrician carrying out the installation will fit the cable ends leading to the solar controller with ferrules. At the battery end, the cable will be terminated with suitable terminals, depending on the battery type.
