The solar system includes the following components:
2x Victron Energy 90Wp/12V solar panel (dimensions 780x668x30mm)
1x Victron Energy LCD&USB 20A PWM solar controller
1x 6mm2 cable set incl. MC4 crimped connectors - length 15 m
1x MC4 coupler connector

This set does not include a battery. If you do not have an on-board battery in your caravan, we recommend choosing a sealed AGM, GEL, or LiFePo battery from the solar battery section. We will be happy to help you make the right choice.

How much energy can this 190Wp solar system produce on average with optimal sunlight in the Czech Republic?

We recommend attaching the panels to the roof of a motorhome using a proven 68cm bracket set (not included in the price of the set), which you can find in the same section as this set. There is also a waterproof grommet for two cables leading from the panel and suitable glue.

The Victron Energy LCD&USB 30A solar controller ensures completely unattended operation of this system, it has a clear integrated LCD display. It will provide you with interesting information about the operation of the entire system. Directly on the front of the solar controller you will also find two USB outputs suitable for charging mobile phones, for example. After installation, you select one of four preset battery types: AGM, GEL, liquid or LiFePO4

NOTE:
The kit includes a 6mm2 cable 15m long, with MC4 connectors pressed on the ends of the cable for connection to the solar panel. The installing electrician will equip the ends of the cables leading to the solar controller with ferrules and suitable DC fuses. For the battery, the cable will be terminated with suitable lugs and suitable DC fuses according to the battery type and installation conditions.

Do you need other system components:
We will be happy to advise you on choosing the appropriate battery type, a suitable 12DC/230AC voltage converter. In our offer you will also find products needed for charging from the alternator while driving.

How to choose the right solar system?
We multiply the consumption of individual devices powered by the solar system in Watts by the number of hours of expected operation per day. The result will be the total need in Wh (watt hours) per day. If this number is lower than the values ??given for each season, the system performance is sufficient, otherwise a more powerful system must be chosen.
