Victron Energy 380Wp (MPPT) Solar Kit for Caravans

Don’t want to pay high fees for an electricity connection at a campsite, or do you need power anytime, anywhere away from civilisation? Simply use solar energy to charge the on-board battery in your caravan or motorhome.

We offer an optimally designed 380 Wp solar system for caravans and motorhomes, with a 5-year warranty on the solar panels and solar controller. This system operates at a battery voltage of 12V. It is one of the most frequently sold and used solar systems in our range. The solar system comprises the following components: 2x Victron Energy 190Wp/12V solar panels

This kit does not include a battery. If you do not have a service battery in your caravan, we recommend choosing a sealed AGM, GEL or LiFePo battery from the solar battery section. We’d be happy to help you make the right choice.

Winter: approx. 198 Wh/day We recommend mounting the panels on the roof of your motorhome using the tried-and-tested 68 cm bracket set (not included in the kit price), which you can find in the same section as this kit. A waterproof grommet for two cables leading from the panel and suitable adhesive are also available. The Victron Energy SmartSolar 100/30 solar controller ensures completely maintenance-free operation of the system. NOTE:
The kit includes a 15-metre-long 6 mm2 cable, with MC4 connectors crimped onto the ends for connection to the solar panel. The electrician carrying out the installation will fit the ends of the cables leading to the solar controller with cable lugs and suitable DC fuses. At the battery end, the cable will be terminated with suitable battery terminals and suitable DC fuses, depending on the battery type and installation conditions. We’d be happy to advise you on selecting the right type of battery and a suitable 12DC/230AC voltage converter. Our range also includes products required for charging from the alternator whilst driving. How to choose the right solar system?
Multiply the power consumption of each device powered by the solar system (in watts) by the number of hours of expected operation per day. The result will be the total daily requirement in Wh (watt-hours). If this figure is lower than the values given for each season, the system’s capacity is sufficient; otherwise, a more powerful system must be chosen. If you are unsure which system to choose, please contact us – we’ll be happy to advise you.

If any component of the solar system does not meet your requirements in terms of its specifications, we will be happy to replace it with another one or remove it entirely, with a corresponding adjustment to the price. Please contact us regarding this adjustment, or state this in the comments section of your order.

Along with the solar system, you will receive a detailed manual describing the individual components and a wiring diagram.

Contents of the set: 2x Victron Energy 190Wp/12V Mono solar panel – A monocrystalline solar panel suitable for building a smaller solar system. The panel consists of 36 cells.
1x Solar cable with MC4-compatible connectors, 15m: A 1x6mm2 solar cable with crimped MC4-compatible connectors, with a total length of 15m.
1x Victron Energy SmartSolar 100/30 MPPT solar controller: A robust and fast MPPT controller for demanding conditions, with panel voltages up to 100 V and a maximum charging current of 30 A. 12/24V battery, PV max 440/880 Wp, integrated Bluetooth Smart.



As these are bespoke kits, some components (e.g. solar panels) are sourced from bulk packaging. For this reason, they may not be supplied in their original individual packaging. However, we guarantee that all items in the kit are brand new and unused.
