The SONOFF SNZB-04PR2 is a window and door sensor that uses Zigbee 3.0 communication, allowing you to monitor the status of secured premises in real time via the app. Its slim design, just 13.5 mm thick, makes for discreet installation, whilst a communication range of up to 100 m in open space ensures stable operation throughout your home. The device detects when doors and windows are opened or closed, alerts you to any attempts to remove the sensor, and sends real-time notifications, allowing you to respond quickly to any changes in status.

Continuous monitoring and instant notifications The sensor allows you to monitor doors and windows directly from the eWeLink app. Information on whether doors or windows are open or closed is displayed immediately, giving you full control over the secured rooms. Furthermore, the tamper detection feature alerts you to any attempt to tamper with the sensor, thereby enhancing the security of the entire system.

Smart scenes for security and savings The SNZB-04PR2 can work with other smart home devices to create automations tailored to your everyday needs. The sensor can trigger security scenarios when it detects a door or window being opened, working in conjunction with a Zigbee gateway, security cameras and other devices. It also works brilliantly in energy-saving scenarios, such as automatically turning off the thermostat when a window is left open, or switching off the lights when a door is closed.

Flexible installation and wide compatibility Thanks to its removable magnet and the option to mount it horizontally or vertically, the device can be easily adapted to many types of doors and windows. The sensor supports a detection range of up to 30 mm when mounted horizontally and up to 15 mm when mounted vertically, making it easy to install even in less standard locations. The design is suitable not only for doors and windows, but also for fridges, first-aid kits, pet cages and safes. The device works with the eWeLink app, Home Assistant, MQTT, iHost, and the Amazon Alexa and Apple Home platforms via Matter Bridge. Thanks to support for the Zigbee 3.0 standard, the device can be integrated with many popular gateways and home automation systems, and the sensor status can even be checked via voice commands in compatible systems. The device is powered by two AAA batteries and provides up to 3 years of operation without the need for frequent battery replacement. The casing is made from UV-resistant materials, and the device has passed a 1-metre drop test as well as thermal shock tests.
