Product description
Practical tester of 7-pole sockets and plugs for trailers, caravans and towing vehicles. Power supply 12V.
Product parameters:
- measurement of 7-pole plugs and sockets, fault location.
- measurement of 13-pole sockets using an adapter (not included)
- the tester cannot be used for towing equipment sockets with its own control unit (CANBUS)
Technical parameters:
- vehicle on-board voltage: 12V
- 6 × LED to indicate the functionality or malfunction of the circuit
- power supply: 9V 6F22 battery (not included)
- homologation: CE according to ISO1724
Trailer lighting measurement procedure:
Insert the trailer light fork into the tester and press the yellow button on the side of the instrument.
If everything is OK, all LEDs will light up. Each LED indicates the function of one electrical circuit.
If any of the LEDs are off, there may be a faulty connection, a broken wire, or a broken light bulb.
If none of the LEDs are lit, the -12V wire (ground) is probably broken or the device in the device is discharged.
To measure the towbar socket:
Turn on the car's lights and turn on the turn signals.
Plug the tester into the towbar socket of the car and press the yellow button on the side of the device.
The LEDs indicate which lights are on and are correctly transmitted to the towing equipment socket.
If none of the LEDs are lit, the -12V wire (ground) is probably broken or no vehicle lights are on.
Notice:
Do not connect the tester to the socket of the towing device and the trailer at the same time, the measurement can only be performed separately!
