Product description
PENOSIL Painters' Acrylic 636 is a water-based acrylic sealant with an extremely fine texture, used to fill gaps and joints before painting.
It creates a durable, UV and mold resistant plastic bond with the most commonly used building materials such as concrete, plasterboard and wood.
Extremely fine texture
Does not settle
Remains plastic
Resistant to UV and mold
Virtually odorless
Low VOC emissions, safe to use
USES
Filling cracks and joints with low mobility
Sealing porous surfaces, e.g. concrete
Ensuring smooth surfaces before painting and other finishing work
Filling joints between window or door frames and walls
Adhesion
Concrete, stone, bricks, plasterboard, plaster, wood, walls, PVC, protected metals, ceramic tiles
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Cut off the tip of the cartridge. Screw on the nozzle and cut a hole at a 45° angle - slightly larger than the joint you want to seal.
Insert the cartridge into the sealant gun.
Apply the sealant by applying even pressure to the gun trigger and moving the nozzle smoothly along the joint.
Remove excess sealant and smooth the surface with a suitable tool.
Application temperature from +5°C to +40°C.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free of dust, loose particles and oil stains.
Non-porous surfaces should be cleaned with solvent using a clean, lint-free cloth and excess solvent should be removed.
RESTRICTIONS
Do not use on bituminous substrates or on tar-containing building materials that may release oils or plasticizers.
Do not use at temperatures below +5°C.
Do not use in damp or wet conditions or where there is a risk of precipitation.
The product is not suitable for surfaces that are in constant contact with water.
Applying before the product has fully cured may cause the paint to crack.
STORAGE
The guaranteed shelf life is 18 months from the date of production, when stored in the original unopened packaging in a dry place at a temperature of +5°C to 30°C. Avoid frost and temperatures above 30°C.
Short-term frost resistance: maximum 10 days at temperatures below -18°C.
Resistance to freeze-thaw cycles: 7 cycles in the temperature range from -18°C to +23°C, one cycle lasts 48 hours (24 hours at -18°C and 24 hours at +23°C
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
