Product description
PENOSIL Stucco Acrylic Putty 655 is a water-based elastoplastic putty with a granular structure.
It is intended for filling and sealing small joints and cracks on surfaces with a rough texture.
Due to its composition, it provides a uniform and weather-resistant surface on surfaces such as plaster.
Creates a plaster-like surface.
Resistant to UV radiation, weathering and aging.
For indoor and outdoor use.
Free of solvents, isocyanates and silicone.
Easy to process.
Can be painted.
COLOR
White.
APPLICATION
Filling joints and cracks in plaster and other surfaces with a rough finish.
Repair of lime-cement plasters or decorative plasters (e.g. antique).
Sealing joints with low mobility (up to 7.5%) and medium stress.
Adheres to: drywall, plaster, concrete, stone, brick, stucco, masonry, wood, ceramic tiles and protected metals.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Cut off the tip of the cartridge.
Screw on the nozzle and cut a hole at a 45° angle - slightly larger than the joint to be sealed.
Insert the cartridge into the sealant gun.
Apply the sealant by applying even pressure to the gun trigger and moving the nozzle smoothly along the joint.
Remove excess product and smooth the surface with a suitable tool.
??????
LIMITATIONS
Do not use on bituminous substrates or on materials containing tar that may release oils or plasticizers.
The product is not suitable for joints with a mobility exceeding 7.5%.
Do not use at temperatures below +5°C.
Do not use in damp or wet conditions or where there is a risk of precipitation.
Not suitable for surfaces in constant contact with water.
Painting before the product has fully cured may cause the paint to crack.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free of dust, loose particles, oil stains and old sealant residues.
Non-porous surfaces should be cleaned with solvent using a clean, lint-free cotton cloth and excess solvent should be removed.
If necessary, protect adjacent surfaces with masking tape.
Depending on the size of the joint, the drying time is approximately 2.5 - 3 mm per day. During curing, ensure that the sealed surfaces remain clean and not exposed to mechanical stress.
To ensure a long service life of the product, it is recommended to overcoat it with paint after curing.
A preliminary compatibility test is recommended; If necessary, the surface can be primed.
Application temperature: from +5 °C to +40 °C.
CLEANING
Uncured acrylic can be removed with water or PENOSIL cleaning wipes. Cured acrylic should first be removed mechanically and then wiped with a damp cloth.
STORAGE
Guaranteed shelf life is 18 months from the date of production, provided that it is stored in the original sealed packaging, in a dry place at a temperature between +5°C and +30°C. Avoid frost and temperatures above +30°C.
Short-term frost resistance - maximum 10 days at temperatures below -18°C.
Freeze-thaw cycle resistance: 7 cycles at -18°C and 23°C, with one cycle lasting 48 hours (24 hours at -18°C and 24 hours at +23°C.)
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Ensure adequate ventilation during application and wear necessary personal protective equipment. For more detailed safety information, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
